GO BEARS GO!
I love the Chicago Bears. In case you do, too, I've created a new freebie kit to kick off the start of the football pre-season that I cleverly call "I Love the Chicago Bears." ;) It comes complete with 6 papers and 31 elements! Being born and raised in Indiana originally (within sight of the buildings of downtown Indianapolis), you can imagine how my love for the Bears clashes with my family's love for the Colts.
Due to the size of this freebie kit, I had to break it into two pieces:

Two Christmases ago, my dad surprised me with a handmade fleece Chicago Bears blanket -- you know, the kind that has the fleece tied fringes around the outside edge? It was surprising because my dad's not much of a crafter AND because he put effort into making such a nice gift that was Chicago Bears (we do a lot of Bears vs. Colts trash talking during football season -- thank goodness for my awesome rate calling card.) And then I realized he had written on a few of the fringes... to the tune of "Bears suck!" and such. I sure love that blanket and love it even more when I find one of his funny fringes. You can see the blanket on my lap in the photos of the layout I'm sharing here, using my Chicago Bears freebie kit, of me with Oliver all dressed for a big Bears game on TV the season before last. Oliver is an Urlacher fan, as you can tell by his jersey. Looks like we're going to have to get Winston his own jersey this year!
Hope you enjoy the freebie kit! For personal, non-commercial use only blah blah blah don't forget to read the TOU, I'd love some blog comment love if you like the kit! Happy Sunday, and GO BEARS GO <3

Great job. Can't wait to make some pages, I'll send you some when I have the time to make them. Hopefully they look better come regular season, I wasn't that impressed with the pre-season game on Thursday. Thanks for sharing your talent.
this is is awesome!
I would love to have a kit like this with the "Raiders"...
someday will google search for a scrap raider kit :)
thank you for all the wonderful gifts today and so happy to have stopped by for the first time.

Thanks everyone! :)
GailG, I'm glad you like it! I can't wait to see what you do with it. I was very unimpressed with Thursday's pre-season game too, but then again, my husband reminded me they're still tweaking things so I guess I won't worry too much until the regular season starts. It's still hard not to grumble a bit, though hehe
Thank you! Your blog post will be advertised on the DigiFree Digital Scrapbooking Freebie search engine today (look for timestamp: 11 Aug [LA 12:00am, NY 02:00am, UK 07:00am, OZ 05:00pm] ).
My Mom is a big Bears fan, so I'm sure she will love anything I make with this. Thanks for sharing!
Yay Bears!! I can't seem to get in the mood for football yet, probably because the Cubbies are still doing so well! Maybe this kit will inspire me to start thinking football!
Yah.....GO BEARS....I LOVE 'em too !! How about the Cubbies...You got a kit for them.....Wouldn't it be GREAT for Chicago if they won a World Series (White Sox vs Chicago Cubs) and Super Bowl too.....I live in Wisconsin but born and raised in chicago and have to be true to my 2 teams From there....Go Cubbies....

Great Kit!!! Thanks for sharing all your hard work. i know it would be hard to bring yourself to do a kit for another team, but would you consider a generic football theme. I would love it for my son and just don't have your talent for making one. : )
What a great freebie for Chicago Bears fans, I am a Steelers fan myself so this won't work for me :)
I am just getting into digital scrapbooking and am so glad I came across your site. It is great!
awe thanks, Alice!
I love the Bears, too. Thank you for sharing you work. I enjoyed your story, too. I was born in Chicago, and although I have lived in California most of my life, I have been a huge Bear fan since the Ditka days. The only pro game I have ever attended was (our family Christmas present) the Bears and 49ers. Did not turn out well for the Bears, but So much fun to see them. GO BEARS :) Alayne
